New Waiver for Parks Programs

Parents:

Please note - both custodial parents' signatures are now required on the participation waiver for all parks programs. Your child will not be able to participate until both signatures are obtained.

When you check the "I agree" button on the on-line registration, you are agreeing for both parents.

2010 Summer Lesson Schedule

All summer learn-to-swim classes are offered at Splash Landing. The water depth goes from 0 to 10.5 feet in the diving well. Classes offered are affiliated with the American Red Cross. Red Cross certification will be issued upon successful completion of the class. Parents are required to observe their child's lesson from outside the pool deck area. All classes are 40 minutes in length and run for two weeks Monday - Thursday. Classes may be cancelled for lack of participation and special events.

As in the previous years, all students will be "pre-tested" the first few days of each session to assure the appropriate placement. Please note the date of birth requirement on the registration form. This is for the safety of the students and the recommendations from the American Red Cross.

Fitness Center Private and Group Swim Lessons

Indoor Swim Lessons

The Life Fitness Center Lap/Exercise Pool offers indoor American Red Cross certified swimming lessons after school. Private and semi-private lessons are held M/W or T/Th mornings.

Please note that our pool depth is 3'-6" to 5'. All beginning levels of classes will utilize a portable teaching platform that will sit in the water. No diving will be covered. Parents are required to wait outside the pool area. (schedule subject to change)
