2017-18 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Beginning December 4th and continuing through March of 2018, Visu-Sewer, Inc. will be rehabilitating various storm and sanitary sewers throughout the City.  The proposed improvements consist of lining sewers in various locations with a cured-in-place pipe liner to restore structural integrity and flow capacity. This process uses water and steam to cure the lining.  The contractor will be cleaning and televising the sewer mains prior to the lining with minimal disruptions to residents.  Residents will be notified a minimum of 48 hours prior to the beginning of the actual lining process. During the lining, residents will be asked to minimize their sewer usage for that day. Two-way traffic will be maintained with reduced speed, with one lane traffic occurring for short periods in some areas.
