Bettendorf Police Apprehend Parole Absconder from the Residential Correctional Facility

At approximately 11:25 a.m. today, an off duty Davenport police officer alerted Bettendorf Police of drug activity at Crow Creek Park. The off duty officer followed the suspects to the 2300 block of Pinehurst Drive.  Bettendorf Police arrived on scene shortly after the vehicle stopped. Bettendorf officers approached the vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle fled the scene. After a short foot pursuit, officers found the suspect in the 2400 block of Maplecrest Road. A taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody.

Terrance L. Mason, 23 year old from Davenport, was an escapee from the Residential Correctional Facility in Davenport. He was charged with a Parole Violation, Interference with Official Acts, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Brionna R. Robbins, 28 year old from Davenport, was charged with Driving While Barred.

Both were taken to Scott County Jail.
