SUBJECT:  Bettendorf Police Warn Residents About Vehicle and Residential Burglaries

BETTENDORF: The Bettendorf Police Department is warning citizens about recent vehicle and residential burglaries that have been occurring throughout the city.  As of Friday, August 26,  there has been nine vehicle burglaries and two residential burglaries.  The residential burglaries were in the neighborhoods just east of Devils Glen Road and north of Devils Glen Park..  There were also two stolen vehicles, both recovered in Davenport.

 

Suspect(s) have entered unlocked vehicles, residences, and garages to steal electronic equipment, cash/change and other items. 

 

Bettendorf Police urges everyone to always lock their vehicles, residences, and garage doors to prevent these crimes from happening.

 

If anyone has information relating to these burglaries, call the Bettendorf Police Department at 563-344-4015. If anyone sees suspicious activity, they should call 911.
