UPDATE on March 21st, 2023:
Crow Creek Dog Park is expected to reopen on Monday, March 27th - weather permitting.
UPDATE on March 7th, 2023:
Crow Creek Dog Park is expected to reopen soon as City of Bettendorf Parks Maintenance Crews work to aerify and put seed in the ground to get ready for the "Dog Days" of Spring and Summer.
"It's just that time of year where we have to have that regrowth," explained Jason Manfull, Parks Maintenance Supervisor. "The turf needs to regrow. It needs to start rooting and get firm to where the dogs can come out here and get their feet not wet, but back in the green grass and everyone can have a better experience than taking your dog to the dog wash station after you've left here!"

ORIGINAL STORY on February 23rd, 2023:
Starting Thursday, February 23, 2023, Crow Creek Dog Park is temporarily closing for maintenance to allow the ground to firm up from this season's heavy rain, little snowfall, and mild temperatures:
"This practice is consistent with past years as we closed Crow Creek Dog Park on February 28th for a few weeks in 2022," explained Jason Manfull, the City of Bettendorf's Parks Maintenance Supervisor. "We want to give our citizens and park patrons outstanding conditions in the springtime as temperatures increase and park activities rise as well. I feel confident this minor break will assist us in creating a better experience this spring."
We will keep you updated on www.bettendorf.org as well as on the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Facebook Page. Thank you for your patience!
