The Bettendorf Fire Rescue Department is charged with the responsibility of providing professional and efficient fire suppression, emergency preparedness, emergency medical services, fire prevention and public education to the citizens and visitors of the City of Bettendorf, Panorama Park and a portion of Scott County Benefited Fire District 1.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of service in the most efficient manner possible; to constantly safeguard and preserve life and property against the elements of fire and disaster through effective preparation, training and education; and to respond to all emergencies in a safe yet swift manner with sufficient resources to address the situation.

Within the outstanding City of Bettendorf team, the fire department is a key member in providing community safety. We accept and embrace this challenge with vigor and commitment. As the world changes and our city grows, our mission has also evolved to one that is not simply confined to “traditional” fire services.

Once again, welcome to our web page, and please contact us if you have any additional questions or have suggestions to improve our services to you.

Thank you,

Steve Knorrek, Fire Chief              Troy Said, Assistant Fire Chief
