The City of Bettendorf contracts with River Bend Transit to provide door-to-door paratransit service for elderly and disabled Bettendorf residents who are unable to use regular fixed route public transit and who live within ¾ mile of an existing bus route. To qualify for ADA Paratransit service, you may download an application by clicking here or by calling Bettendorf Transit at (563) 344-4085 to apply. After you have submitted your paratransit application, please allow up to 21 days for a reply.
Dial-A-Bus service is also available for all other City residents located more than two (2) blocks from a fixed route.

ADA Complementary Paratransit Service to Out-Of-Town Visitors:
Bettendorf Transit provides ADA Complementary Paratransit service to all out-of-town visitors on the same basis as it is provided to local residents. Bettendorf Transit will accept documentation of eligibility issued by the visitor’s home jurisdiction. Service requests are typically approved the same day, but no later than one day later. Service will be provided for any combination of at least 21 days within any 365-day period beginning with the visitor’s first use of the service.
