Police Department's Pink Patch Project

POSTED: September 4, 2018

The Bettendorf Police Department is proud to partner with the Pink Patch Project to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. The goal of the project is to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support research organizations in combating this disease. Funds raised will go to further the research, treatment, and care of those individuals who are and have battled cancer.

During the month of October, members of the police department will wear a pink version of their uniform patch in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds will go to the Genesis Center for Breast Health. The patches will also be for sale to the public and are available now. The patches are $10 each.

If you are interested in purchasing a Bettendorf Police Department Pink Patch, you can stop down at the Bettendorf Police Department/Records Department Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. You can pay by cash or by check. Checks can be made payable to the Bettendorf Police Benevolent Fund. You can also contact Officer Guffey (aguffey@bettendorf.org) or Officer Stolley (sstolley@bettendorf.org) with any questions.
