RSM US LLP today released an audit report on City of Bettendorf, Iowa.

The City’s revenues totaled $65,011,851 for the year ended June 30, 2017, a 0.5 percent decrease from the prior year.  Revenues included $25,743,279 property tax, $1,322,127 for tax increment financing, $14,853,925 from charges for services, $5,757,767 from operating grants and contributions, $5,930,329 from capital grants and contributions, $5,349,144 from local option sales tax, and $6,055,280 from other general revenues.

Expenses for City operations totaled $57,645,138, a 2.3 percent increase from the prior year.  Expenses included $10,308,670 for Public Safety, $9,560,858 for Public Works and $6,945,367 for Culture and Recreation.  Expenses for business type activities totaled $18,567,227.
