RESCHEDULED Open House Concerning Parks Facilities Needs Assessment & Feasibility Study

The Open House concerning the Parks Facilities Needs Assessment & Feasibility Study has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 13, 2018. The public is invited to hear an update on the progress of the Parks Facilities Needs Assessment & Feasibility Study. A consultant team from Perkins+Will, the architectural firm hired by the City, will be on-hand to answer questions and gather feedback from the community. The study will help the City assess if the Life Fitness Center, Community Center, and Splash Landing should be improved or replaced based on facility assessment, market analysis, and input from the community. 

There are two sessions being offered. The afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. will include a short presentation, question/answer session, and exhibits on display. The evening session from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. will have exhibits and activities geared to solicit feedback from the community. The meetings will be held at the Waterfront Convention Center, 2021 State Street.
