Landlord Lien Waiver

The State of Iowa provides landlords with the opportunity to not be held responsible for tenants' delinquent municipal utility bills.
A lien exemption can be put in place on residential or commercial property by using the form below.  Please be aware that the Lien Waiver process is time sensitive, notice for residential rental property must be submitted within 30 business days of a change in tenant and commercial properties must submit notice within ten business days.
