Parks Maintenance

The Parks Maintenance Division of Public Works manages approximately six hundred fifty-five (655) acres of green space in the Parks system.  With twenty-four (24) named Parks, we take a great deal of pride in providing an excellent experience at our parks, fields, natural areas and trails for the citizens of Bettendorf and park patrons.  Our parks offer a wide variety of options for all ages to explore and enjoy outdoor recreation; continuing the goal of creating a healthy, expanding community.  With the Mississippi River being an integral part of the Quad Cities and community, we have four (4) riverfront parks offering scenic river views, boating, fishing and trails along with the on-going development of our newest urban park adjacent to the Interstate 74 corridor.
