The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities is forecasting blowing snow today with frigid air arriving tonight:

The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities issued a Winter Weather Message stating that the Blizzard Warning is cancelled and there's a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until Noon on Saturday, January 13 for additional snow accumulations of one inch and wind gusts as high as 40mph. There are also several Wind Chill Warnings between Saturday, January 13 and Tuesday, January 16 as temperatures drop. You can view the Winter Weather Message here.

The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities issued a Winter Weather Message stating that a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 5pm on Friday, January 12 with additional total snow accumulations of 1-4 inches, followed by a Blizzard Warning from 5pm on Friday, January 12 to Noon on Saturday, January 13 with winds gusting as high as 50mph. January 12 at 12:45pm - Bettendorf Transit Suspending Service
Due to deteriorating road conditions and in the interest of safety for our drivers, Bettendorf Transit is suspending service for the remainder of Friday, January 12.

Davenport CItibus is suspending services at 4pm on Friday, January 12. 

Bettendorf Transit Saturday Service Fixed Route and ADA Paratransit Service for Saturday, January 13 has been cancelled.

Bettendorf Transit will resume normal operations from 6am-7pm on Monday, January 15.

The Bettendorf Public Library, Family Museum, and the Bettendorf Community Center are CLOSED on Friday, January 12th due to the impending winter storm.

January 11 at 4:30pm - MidAmerican Energy Storm Update

During the last two days, MidAmerican Energy has been patrolling areas that were impacted during the last storm to make sure trees were cleared away from lines and reinforce equipment and systems that were put through the paces.

MidAmerican Energy will have crews positioned and ready to respond to any outages that may result, and its team will work around the clock to restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Following any major storm, it’s important for the public to be aware of the danger posed by fallen power lines. If you see a downed line, always assume it’s energized and don’t approach it. Contact MidAmerican Energy and they'll respond to any report of a downed line to ensure it’s safe.
