Following any major storm, it’s important for the public to be aware of the danger posed by fallen power lines. If you see a downed line, always assume it’s energized and don’t approach it. January 8 at 5pm - 3 Things You Can Do

As the snow starts to fall, here are 3 THINGS you can do as we weather the storm together:

  1. Stay off the road if you can. Not only are we expecting a lot of snow, but a lot of wind that will blow all that snow around. If you do not need to travel, don't!
  2. Remove snow from fire hydrants, mailboxes, and points of entry into your home in case there's an emergency and police officers, firefighters, or paramedics need to get to you or your family quickly.
  3.  Keep garbage/recycling cans and vehicles off streets and alleys for snowplows, if possible. Our snowplows are operating around the clock to remove snow and will need to make several passes throughout the storm to keep up with all the snowfall.
