Friends of the Bettendorf Parks Foundation

LogoThe Friends of Bettendorf Parks Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in Bettendorf by assisting in development and improvement of our recreational amenities. Funds raised by the foundation have supported many projects, including Special Populations events, Movies in the Park, Crow Creek Dog Park amenities, ice cream socials for the Bettendorf Park Band, funding assistance for recreation programs, and more.

Annual Friends of the Parks Events Include:

  • The Jamie Hill Golf Tournament held every August at Palmer Hills Golf Course
  • Senior Golf Cart Tours held the Monday before Memorial Day and the Monday of the week following Labor Day. The free tours begin at Palmer Hills Golf Course and travel along the Duck Creek Recreation Trail. The tour travels west in the spring and east in the fall. Register for your space online at www.bettendorf.org/register.
  • Mother-Son Night of Fun is a fun-filled day out of the house with active games, activities, and events held at the Life Fitness Center.

How Can I Contribute to the Friends of Bettendorf Parks Foundation?

To grow the Friends of Bettendorf Parks Foundation's ability to support programs and improve recreational facilities, an endowment fund has been established with the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend. The endowment fund is entirely separate from City control and provides a permanent vehicle for charitable contributions and financial stability for the foundation and its activities.

For more information on making a gift to the endowment, contact Kimberly Radcliff at kradcliff@bettendorf.org, or call (563) 344-4011.
